That looks to be a proper update, finally the sequencer and workflow is getting some serious attention. Maybe LANDR buyout was in the end a very good move
Let's hope it stays with same business model (rent or full licence) and this DAW might compete very soon with the top tier.

Yeh, had to smile when they said had added 'group tracks', must be the most requested feature!

It feels like its more in line with what other DAWs are doing in the space. Have a channel inspector imo is very nice. I'm still on 12 (or was it 11, I don't recall and I'm not in front of my mac right now). Could use an upgrade.

Excellent update. It took them a few months to implement these? What was going on before?!

Holy crap - this is practically everything I wanted. Might start using Reason again.

All I ask for is poly AFT, support for my Kontrol MK3, a new sampler, and reasonable prices. Then I'm in. You can do it LANDR.

should still integrate the polymodular system, and then it would be pretty solid

sure, it works like this too, but you have to keep converting between the two systems, which isn’t exactly pleasant
I’m curious whether they actually touched the Blocks—removed them, changed them—or if it’s just a grouping convenience improvement or something along those lines

A new sampler? How many samplers do you need? No other DAW has as many samplers as Reason.

Completely agree. Though NNXT could use maybe an interface update to deal with multisampled instruments a bit better. I think the current interface is a little too tiny. Would also be nice to add some rule based devices and/or IFTTT triggers into the sampler for more complex setups without needing to have multiple NNXTs to achieve it.jens wrote: Wed Apr 08, 2026 4:11 pmA new sampler? First and foremost: We need great songs (again)

I was certainly thinking more about a redesign of the NNXT, as mentioned above.jens wrote: Wed Apr 08, 2026 4:11 pmA new sampler? How many samplers do you need? No other DAW has as many samplers as Reason.

Thanks for listening to the user requests. No need for a complete new sampler but MKII version of Mimic (keep old MK1 availible like with real hardware please).
Mimic MK2 Sampler needs tempo bpm in sync/bpm align and some small layout adaptions to Reasons other more realistic designed devices.
