There there is a lot of mid-70s-90s sounds but you can get real dirt with Character/Drive knobs - modular like and very similar to my Pro3 in terms of being 'alive' and a bit on the edge....the filter is very flexible and sounds great, I am really impressed...I just tried to post a couple of bits but it said failed to large, check out RS6-SEQ-MODULAR and Pipes on the discord channel (pipes uses the new beta 'maths' page). It definitely does big dirty mono synths really well, I'll make a few demos of this...having 6 analogue synths play at the same time (especially with different arps) is a lot of fun and the new 6 track sequencer is very easy to use, once they add the drum engine it will double as a pretty cool analogue drum machine! I highly recommend reading the dev logs on the web site, reading them definitely gave me confidence to buy

I think this is the best current overall sound demo as they are just 'played' was 1.5 (a few posts back) as 1.6 was to demo the sequencer. The next update (1.7) is due next month and should have the 'Maths' page for complex modulation, so should get more experimental!

I don't think you will be disappointed, it has exceeded my expectations. This is a good video to watch if you havent seen it (whilst you wait ) This was a very early version, no fx or sequencer etc but more from their 'modular/eurorack' roots I think!



PS- Developers are super active on discord, I posted a couple of suggestions today and both answered strait away!

When you get it, I would put 1.6.1 Beta 3 (2026-04-08) on as it fixes a small bug with 1.6 and is stable (super easy to update as well) unless of course there is a newer one by then, the devs are working fast

1.7 beta is now up!

The maths page is more than I expected- modular workflow heaven (its like lots of small modular utility modules like slew, sample and hold etc); this is far more than a regular synth module now with maths and the poly sequencer...

I think 1.7 will be a milestone for the Devs as that is all the originally promised features deceived (maths was the last 'coming soon' message on buttons), I hope people take the time to re-review it as its a different thing from the synth they launched. and there still have a very ambitious and well communicated road map for more engines/features
