Sorry if this has already been requested (are already available functionally), but:

I would like to be able to preserve certain settings in the algorithm window, while i am trying out different algorithms (AWM, Input and so on). I think that would be very helpful when trying out the rcm features.

Is that possible?

This may have been asked already, but are MIDI assignments something you plan on adding in the future? At the very least, the SY77 has a handful of assignable CC slots for things like EGBiasDepth and other things that are really important, which I don't currently see in Swayed. Obviously if you could freely assign MIDI to *any* parameter, this would be even better.

Oh yeah, it was a little confusing for me. You can assign CCs on the COMMON page of a patch, under the VOICE/CONTROLLERS tab (manual pp. 10-11). Compared with the SY77 manual pp. 110-113, it looks like Sheaf has added the same assignable parameters. If you import a SysEx bank that had these assignments, it appears to translate correctly.

Has anyone had any luck creating icon.jpegs for user banks?

Yeah, just quickly tried it, worked fine.

Oh, that RY30 card looks nice. Love that.

Video features two short clips and some of my favorite presets. NO FX is used except a limiter on master and tracks are not mixed or mastered professionally. Just wanted to showcase the sounds of swayed.

I own a lot of synths, but this one truly stands out for its playability and expressiveness. The presets are highly inspiring, and the electric pianos are a particular highlight. Once you start playing, it’s hard to stop—it just feels that good. If you have a decent keyboard, this is definitely one you should try.

Just like the real thing, this synth sits so well in the mix.

First off congratulations on finishing this immensely complex project.
I too would be really interested in being able to map midi cc's to more than just the few things available currently. Is this in the future, Thank you

I'll have to think about how to implement that, because some of those settings are tied to the algorithm. Some algorithms have fixed feedback paths that cannot be changed, and these could interfere with AWM and other inputs.

Make sure to call the file icon.jpg, and not icon.jpeg.

I'm afraid not. When I started on this project I made the decision to replicate the functionality of the hardware, but not go beyond it. I could've tried to make a modern interpretation and add tons of modulation options, more flexible EG's, time synced LFO's, etc., but then I probably would've never managed to finish it. Now that it's done I also can't really add it after the fact without huge rewrites, because the limitations in place allowed for a simpler implementation of many features. Another advantage is that it will always remain bidirectionally patch compatible with the hardware this way. I want to make it function as an editor for the hardware too.

So I will keep the limited scope for this one. If I ever decide to go beyond it, it will need to be a version 2 built from the ground up with modern features in mind from the start.

ok, i understand that! this is in no way something which I need desperately. Custom samples is much more needed :)

any idea why the letters "nan" appear on the output, which mutes the synth altogether? happens with the factory bank.

It’s a bug, was mentioned earlier.
