HI Milan,
i'm a sound/preset designer for my living - and for me it is crucial that i can modulate the start point of a sample via mod assignment (f.e. with a random source, that randomizes the samples startpoints on each note on, or to modulate the starting point of a polyphonic lfo) - is Filtre able to do that?
Also an "alternate" modulation source that outputs static values between only -1 and 1 (which is then scaled via the amount of the modulation assignment) is something i frequently use (f.e. on polyphonic panning) - is that possible in Filtre?

We've just launched a significant upgrade / facelift to Flite in our latest 1.3 update

It now features 4 new granular oscillators with a tonne of editing goodness, new presets and a bunch of granular oscillator samples from Wavetick.

The existing sampler modules can now either be multi-samplers or granular oscillators, layered with the 3 FM/wavetable/virtual analog oscillators this gives a total of 7 oscillators!

The upgrade is free for existing create users.

Flite Create is priced at $79.99 for new users, 20% RRP for the next week

I have to praise Flite for the presets, some beautiful pads and keys there. Great UI too.
Very much worth checking the free player and indeed can consider the paid version for more features, great value imo.

I"m still looking forward to Linux support. :)

Sharooz knows good sounds.

We've updated Flite to v1.4 - each section oscillator (sampler, granular, synth, noise, etc) can be independently routed to an A or B engine - with distinct envelope and FX settings for each engine. The addition of the extra envelop means the instrument now has 4 assignable envelopes, and that a multi-sampler can for example be routed to the note sequencer, with its own delay effect, while another multi-sampler is routed to a different, static 4 stage envelope with say, a reverb effect. It's especially good for blending the attack timbres of a one multi sampled patch on top the sustain portion of another, or having an arp playing alongside a pad.

The update includes a bunch of new presets, bringing the total factory presets to 230 - and is free for existing Flite users, and priced at $79 for new users, this weekend only

Are there any estimates on the time frame when we will see the Linux native version? :)

Well, I downloaded the free version, brought it up in Cubase 15, tried to sign in to download the content and I can't type in the box. I tried to copy and past my email from another location. That doesn't work either.

I'm hesitant to just buy this because what if it doesn't work at all?

Sorry. I really liked what I heard but if the sign in process is this borked I don't dare spend money on it.

A lost customer.

^^ EDIT ^^ Tried it in Cubase 14. Same thing. Oh well. Such is life.

Surprised this hasn’t become abandon-ware like his others have.

I'm convinced the dev is an idiot. I email him and tell him that I can't type anything in the email and password boxes when I launch the plugin. He tells me to change the password.

What does it matter what the password is WHEN I CAN'T TYPE ANYTHING IN THE BOXES?

I'm giving up on this one. Wish I never even bothered.

We asked you within moments of your email for more information, including which OS and platform you're on beyond simply "This doesn't work in Cubase 14 or 15"

How do you expect us to troubleshoot with virtually zero information? Come on now. Stop posting deliberate ragebait and actually engage on solving the problem. You care enough to put multiple posts on a forum but not to correspond properly to try to troubleshoot your issue.

I've been a Cubase user since the 90s and opened Flite just this morning in Cubase 14 and 15 on Sonoma, trying to replicate your apparent issue and had no problems logging in and out.

Would you care to post my response about ensuring all other windows are closed, since some DAWs are known to prioritise other windows that are brought to the front, or would you rather not care to try that?

"I'm convinced the dev is an idiot"

If you're so convinced we're idiots, please do respond in a reasonable fashion and actually give us some information on your issue beyond simply a one line email "ThIS DoSENT WoRK"

Oh hey! We meet again. it's been almost a decade you've been singing the same tune. You spend an awfully long amount of time on here singing that tune. Isn't it time for a new song? Guess not. See you in another 10 years! x

I was going to apologize privately in an email but I felt a public apology was in order. Let me start off first by saying I did not have to change my password as you suggested as I knew that wasn't the problem.

Last night I restarted my PC and brought up Cubase with nothing else running. I loaded Flite and it still didn't work. I could not type anything in the box. I decided to just forget about it.

This morning, I saw your email and forum post. I decided to give it one more try, this time with a fresh first thing in the morning boot up. I made sure nothing else was running but Cubase. I loaded flight and it worked fine. It made no sense that it didn't work last night. Maybe restarting the computer wasn't good enough. Maybe I had to shut it down completely,

All I know is it's working now and I did purchase it. I think it's a really cool synth and in spite of my frustrations trying to get a basic registration to work, I would highly recommend it. Being able to load in your own samples was what ultimately sold me as the factory content is rather limited. But with sample import, it doesn't matter.

So I apologize. Cubase 15 has been giving me other problems as well and has not been a smooth experience. Hopefully, I won't have any other problems moving forward.

Thanks for making this great synth. I'm glad I'm actually able to use it.

Thanks, I'm glad you're enjoying it. Apology accepted. I'm an ardent Cubase user / beta tester myself and I know it can sometimes get a bit funny with some third party plugins when it comes to text entry, especially versions after C12 - As I said I'm almost sure it's to do with certain windows being open and taking "text priority" over others. I'll be sure to bring it up with them.
