The new Casio Legacy product is actually a really good example of what makes Vintage Vault special. UVI worked with Casio to make it and has many instruments that have never been implemented beforesynworks wrote: Sun Apr 12, 2026 8:45 pm Yes yes, I know that there are many more synths for which not all are emulations available yet (I have VV4 myself). I was strictly refering to CZ and MiniMoog because for these we have multiple emulations.
Maybe it's just different preference then!
I got VV only for the things not emulated yet.
If you guys like to use it complementary to emulations that's of course fine as well.
Btw. I didn't know that VirtualCZ is no longer developed. However, it's VST3 so I guess it will be usable for at least the next 10 years on Windows. Mac is a different story of course with all the breaking changes there.
Casio made some really cool and unique Synths and samplers back in the day it's nice to see them get some love.
My first real synth was a Casio CZ1000. My Dad bought it for me when I was in highschool. As far as CZ plugins go the Arturia CZ V is really good
