For every song I need an idea, and for every short story as well. That’s why I also draw inspiration from Flemish “Filmpjes” and comics. From a single one, I can get multiple ideas, because I create a completely different story around it, which I then have worked out by ChatGPT.

Almost always, the story I tell has NOTHING to do with the original anymore. It becomes something entirely different. You can clearly see that with The White Iris. That comes from a Flemish “Filmpje” about the same flower. But instead of a flower that brought misery out of revenge, I build a completely different story around it.

In The Fry Shop Mystery, Urbanus goes to a masked ball, and that makes me think of a young man who is single and receives an invitation to a masked ball where strange figures are walking around.

That’s how I continuously create stories and song lyrics with ChatGPT. Some lyrics are based on older song texts from another service, while others are made with ChatGPT based on an idea I provide—what the song should be about.

I also ask ChatGPT for a mood, vibe, and BPM, and I give it a genre. Then I let ChatGPT do its work.

I also do this with Bible passages in the future. I already do it now in a way, by using the original texts as a base to create another version with ChatGPT that is inspired by them.

I also use own ideas.

Finally, I also create short stories. In the same way, I provide input text that the story should be based on, and then I let ChatGPT do its work again.

Then I use Suno and master the result myself with a program. I think it sounds better that way.

People think that using AI means you’re stealing, but that’s only if you don’t really input anything yourself, or if you just say something like: “a song about love.”

You can do that, but the lyrics won’t be as good. That’s why I use ChatGPT to create lyrics the way I just described.

I use detailed information in the lyrics and styles.

I understand that AI is something strange, but I enjoy using it.

I see a lot of resistance. I know someone else like that. In the end, the better you use it, the more everything will improve for everyone.

And in my opinion, that’s actually a good thing.
