I have tested it, yes, and it's more than okay in my opinion. I was already a Bingo Drum Machine fanboy, though, so I'm definitely a little biased.

That said: zeep here seems fairly unimpressed and says he checks notes ..he just doesn't have it in him today.

So the jury's still out on zeep. But as for me, I think it's a great free distortion with plenty of range and worth a download.

it's brutal and utterly useful.
the Drive slider suffers from the same scaling phenomenon as the former Decay sliders for hats and so forth on Bingo... the first 5% of the slider should be the first 50% in my opinion. So much goodness to be had down there. As soon as the slider moves from 0 to 0.01, fuckin BAM we've missed a huge part of the story.
otherwise, it's instantly more useful to me than many of my other distortions.

Nevermind, I've no interest in any KVR debates today. Download it or don't. I wanted to share with others here but tbh I'd just as much love to keep this beauty as a hidden gem!

No matter how many times I try, I don't get the "Magic Link" activation email. It's the same one I "bought" the plugin with, and yes I've checked the Spam folder! I don't normally complain about activation methods, but it's a different story when I can't activate it =(

Sorry to hear that, concealed.

I had no trouble getting my download link from OKAY, it took 10 seconds if that. But I've definitely been there with other dev's emails - Crow Hill was one of the culprits. Their emails would never arrive no matter what I did so I had to set up an email on a completely different server before I finally received them.

Yeah there are a handful of other companies where I've had the same issue. It's a Hotmail address, so it shouldn't be a problem, and I did get a confirmation email when I signed up for the plugin, but I'm guessing that comes from the storefront and not Okay. I sent an email to Support but I'm pretty pressed for time at the moment and have had a couple of bad customer service issues recently, so I'm ready to move on if this isn't a quick fix. Looks like a neat tool, though!

Man, that sucks and I'm sorry it hasn't worked out.

That said, while it's a great distortion, you're certainly not missing out on anything that you can't live without!

And who knows, maybe one day in the near future you'll just be scrolling through your emails and out of the blue you'll see the download link email from OKAY and it'll be a nice surprise for you.

I left out what seemed less relevant and less accurate to me: usability strikes me as quite problematic
