can someone please see if you can address two instances of Bismuth on different midi channels within Beam? It would be very neat to be able to have multiple instances each responding to different sequences within one instance of Beam.

Not possible unfortunately, could be a good feature request.sandandpaint wrote: Sat Mar 28, 2026 8:07 am can someone please see if you can address two instances of Bismuth on different midi channels within Beam? I bought Bismuth and spoke with their support and they thought it should be possible using the DAW midi mapping and I did figure out how to address each instance individually with its own sequencer using Reaper. Took a while but once I got it seems really obvious, you use plugin automation to automate each instance separately on many parameters, not just pitchjoradn wrote: Sat Mar 28, 2026 9:15 amNot possible unfortunately, could be a good feature request.sandandpaint wrote: Sat Mar 28, 2026 8:07 am can someone please see if you can address two instances of Bismuth on different midi channels within Beam? Unfortunately, not at the moment. Considering the types of effects that have been developed for BEAM, it just makes common sense to eventually bring spectral processing into the mix. It would blend in perfectly with the other effect types. I'm extremely happy with BEAM right now, but I'd love to hear from Lunacy Audio, and get their opinion about a spectral node. I think it would be really cool!Fleer wrote: Sun Mar 29, 2026 11:11 am Bismuth’s looking good, but does Beam also have spectral processing in its node arsenal?

Wouldn't a spectral effect add latency though? I like the fact I can use this in realtime

Latency is an important factor to consider, and that's why I'd love to hear their take on the subject. I still think something like a spectral delay would add interesting variation, along with the granular effects already onboard. The nodes are so powerful that they can truly transform any audio that you send through BEAM, so maybe we'll see something along these lines. And even if we don't, I'm thoroughly happy with the current state of their plug-in.aMUSEd wrote: Thu Apr 02, 2026 8:16 am Wouldn't a spectral effect add latency though? All of our BEAM plugins are zero latency effectsaMUSEd wrote: Thu Apr 02, 2026 8:16 am Wouldn't a spectral effect add latency though? I like the fact I can use this in realtime

I just bought in the sale (Virtual Riot Bundle), figured it was different enough from all my other fx at the sale price. I like the nice simple interface, very easy to use and it sounds very good. It makes a great guitar fx pedal (Chase Bliss type of stuff). I think its just the delay and time modules I didn't get, but nice to hear them in the pre-sets...maybe compete the Bundel in other sale
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Yeah, that's a bit f'd up, but the plugins are good, and my $65 cost was still a good value.VariKusBrainZ wrote: Mon Apr 13, 2026 8:14 pm Shame to complete my bundle I have to pay $20 more than the sale price of the Virtual Riot Bundle

I had been sleeping on this plugin for a long time, but I picked it up and I really love it. It's so much fun to play with the routing, especially if you use the Portals.
