Also available through PM.

Ever thought the Peak sounded too smooth, clinical, and clean? Fear not! This sound bank is for you. While you can't really make the Peak alias, the wavetables included will get you closer to those 8-bit 80s vibes. It is inspired by the likes of the PPG, ESQ-1, DW8000, and the Konami SCC chip. This soundset contains 10 of each category: Keys, Pads, Leads, Basses/Plucks, and SFX! A free version with 15 patches will also be available. It comes with a spreadsheet breaking down the uses of the patches, what the Animate buttons do, and which modulators, wavetables, and features are utilized. There is also a readme file that instructs which wavetables go where. It is my first hardware synthesizer bank (excuse the gain staging issues if any), and I made it during my winter break and finished it up in March. I hope you enjoy it, and any feedback is welcome.

In list form:
  • 50 patches inspired by 80s synth sounds!
  • A few of them also have 90s techno vibes
  • 10 wavetables, including 4 PPG-style, 2 Ensoniq-style, 2-DWGS, and 2 chiptune tables
  • Takes advantage of the Peak's modulators and Animate buttons
  • Comes with a spreadsheet for the technical breakdown
  • Will make your Peak/Summit into more of a buzzy and breathy machine. Think twice before buying the 3rd Wave
  • Costs $6

I have reduced the price to $6. I am planning to make a new demo video next weekend by filming my synth playing on a tripod.
