What guitar did you play today and how long?

I've actually been putting guitar playing on hiatus for the last week. Devoting my time to other things. Today I picked up my mim 60's modified strat for five hours and while I still don't love positions 2 and 4 due to the fender stack noiseless pups the rest has been great.
As it stands now it may be awhile before I swap them out.
I've been thinking of swapping the pups with these...

I played bass today, maybe 20 minutes. I recently put roundwound GHS Roundcore Boomer strings on an Ibanez bass that previously wore Ernie Ball flatwounds. And last week I got a really nice Acoustic Image bass amp for $1 from a bass site I frequent!
It's a sealed enclosure with a down-firing 10" and a front-mounted 5", deep and clear even at really low volumes.

Last night I plugged in a strat copy that has been sitting around for 20 years, cheap crap.
When I went to tune it, every string registered G, even tho I could hear the pitch changing... very strange
Time for the bin

I dusted off some old brass slides, and polish up to new condition.
Having a new go at slide playing and now on my new LP Modern Lite.
- will see how much is left of fretwires when done with that
25 years or so ago I bought a used Epi Sheraton II with Gibson Classic 57 on, and discovered that all along B-string were a deep dent in every fretwire all the way up. So gathered been used for slide and not so good at it. A skilled luthier fixed that without needing to refret anything.
So hope to avoid that on this new guitar.
Found this and really nice tele sound as well

Today it's the Parker P44
God I love that neck. I love the tone even though it doesn't fit my tone chaser personality. The only thing I hate about it is the trem which is too stiff but I'm afraid to loosen it up as I think it may affect the mojo.

I always thought they were the coolest looking guitars but I've never seen one in a store to try it out.

The original ones had both advantages and disadvantages.
Baking the body and neck made them both rigid while keeping them light. The skin as it was did firm it up as well but made for a very glossy sticky surface when applying sweat to the mix. The unique curves of the body caused serious cracking with the paint. While using stainless steel frets which in itself was a great idea...gluing them into the fretboard caused them to fall out during performance. The glass epoxy fretboard made for a gritty feel. The price and production time kept it out of the hands of many who wanted them.
On the other hand once purchased by Washburn many of those things disappeared in the subsequent Korean versions product at the Cort factory. The P44 was the only one I'm aware of which has a piezo and magnetic pups.
I always expected some guitarist extraordinaire to pick the thing up and blaze a new trail. The new guitar for a new generation. Instead we had Vernon Reid who wanted to homogenize the parker into just another strat type body. My favorite story when Ken Parker still headed up the company. EVH calls Parker up and says give me one and maybe we can make a deal.. Parker says back you already have enough guitars with your name on it go buy your own.

This is going to be your main figure, shown below. The specific fingering tends to be less important than the musicality of the grimace.

Still playing the Parker today. But it's Canadian music. Rush, Brian Adams. Brian Adams feels "Truer" on my Strat though.
As for Rush I have no LP or LP copy anymore so the Parker will have to do.
I don't take requests. I know some of you want me to play Celine Dion or Anne Murray
