Here's how Maschine does it. They all become visible when you hover over any of the tracks.Paul_Pulsonix wrote: Tue Apr 14, 2026 8:10 pm of courseI should put those in front and make the track header look like a daw track header with volume, pan, solo, mute, and phase buttons there. great tip. I'm going to work.

Sadly I cant get a sound out of it.
Ive loaded 3 synth modules, program in some steps, hit play, I see the step sequencer running, no sound. No audio activity showing in the built in mixer.
Play the built in keyboard, no sound.
What the fudge have I missed out?

How to assign an LFO to a parameter?
I read the manual, watched a few vids but the LFO was already assigned. Clicked around like crazy, not obvious. Got the parameter locks figured.

Sorry, still need to update the manual.
to asign the LFO's , drag the + on the right of nr 10 the lfo's to any knob, on the knob itself, with option or alt drag you can adjust the range of the lfo. right click the knob to change the type of modulation from bipolar to unipolar.

Brilliant
I was clicking the + wondering what its for.
Love the synth drum sounds.
What are the chances of the track lengths getting their own LFO or something to modulate the length or modulate the tempo of each lane?

Heh, me too! Was even hunting down and deleting settings files.VariKusBrainZ wrote: Wed Apr 15, 2026 3:28 pm Ha, got it. I bought it months ago but gave up thinking it was a bug on my system![]()

Maybe make this a default, especially with the added drum synth options? Or if a selection is made to a drum synth? Current new track default shows Hoover for me but no sound comes out, seems like it should at least make some kind of sound by default.

I got rid of the mix tab and made the Volume, Pan and phase switch always visable.
Selecting a synth or dragging in a sample/rex file now automatically switches to the correct mode.

Update is live. Took a bit longer than planned but the 909 is in there now. Like the 808 it's fully synthesised, all built from the circuit, no samples. Except the cymbals, since those were samples on the real 909 too.
Also added a new tube distortion and a better bitcrusher, and the oversampling has been improved. CPU is a lot lighter now. And the UI got a makeover, smoothed out a few rough edges here and there.
Download as always at www.beatforge.nl
If your trial has already run out, drop me a message and I'll explain how to get going again.
