Yes, Eareverb is a very serious and excellent reverb, absolutely the same league with the best others I have (and I have a lot of great ones), and I am really very happy to see the update. Thank you!

Absolutely agree! This is an excellent reverb plugin!
Thanks for the update Philippe!

Unfortunately, I just noticed that on April 8th eaReckon announced its closure of operations.
It would be wise to backup the owned plugins' setups and activation keyfiles.

Damn, that's a bummer. Philippe, have you considered selling the source code to another developer who might continue to maintain and sell these? DDMF did something similar for ERS not too long ago https://ddmf.eu/ers-250/
Best of luck with your new endeavors regardless!

The guy priced himself out of business. I was interested in a few of his plugins, just not at his price. Kept waiting for him to come to his senses. He never did and welp, here we are.

Oh shit!!! That's incredibly sad news! There were a few very unique plugins in the collection. Thanks for the heads up! I'll will download all my purchased software ASAP.
This is one instance where it's absolutely awesome that the developer has a simple serial which means it's possible to open these plugins in the future as long as the hardware is compatible.
Here's a toast to you Philippe for the awesome 16 years! Your creative legacy lives on in our music productions!

That's too bad, EAReverb is a great clean, very adjustable reverb!
I also loved their EQ and channel strip plugins.

That's a real shame. TransReckon is the best single band Transient Designer out there, in my opinion. One of the few plugins I use on nearly every mix.e@rs wrote: Mon Apr 13, 2026 7:44 pm Unfortunately, I just noticed that on April 8th eaReckon announced its closure of operations.![]()

I never got on with the stuff enough to meet his price point. I thought we’re always good tho. There are a few old time devs like that, some others have also called it quits.

It sounds more like you are kicking them while they're down.pekbro wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2026 5:34 am Nah, let sleeping dog lie. Great Devs, just stubborn about some things, which I suspect played a part in their ultimate closure.

Barring personal circumstance, inflexibility and failure to keep competitive is no way to run a business imo.
