Yes this fixes a lot of bugs and good we get surround back at least in standalone. Really missing library support though still

Support for loading templates and sub presets for oscillators, waveshapes, MSEGs, fx presets etc. Much like Zebra, Absynth has always had the ability to construct patches out of building blocks which can be created, saved and exchanged by users, many longstanding users will have huge libraries of them (some were also commercially available such as the Galbanum Architecture waveforms). Absynth 6 still installs the factory libraries (which I presume means support is planned), it just has no means to save and load them (yet)

Brian will get to it sooner or later, I'm sure.

Oh really? So you can't load envelope presets or oscillator presets any more? Or even third party waveforms?

You can load samples but the save/load dialogues for OSC waveforms. MSEGs etc else are missing, but as ED says are very likely coming back (the fact that installer installs them seems a good sign)

I made some patches using only Architecture waveforms in Absynth 5 and they load fine in Absynth 6 so that is a roundabout way of doing it - evidently it retains the file references in the patch.

Aetherizer is still one of the best granular effects out there.

I have so many presets making high use of the Aetherizer and I can only agree. It is magic. 🪄
Soundsets and presets for Absynth.
Sounds and presets for UVI Falcon "Iterata X".
Bazille soundset - Crystalline Textures 3.

You made any soundpacks with Absynth 6 yet? I seem to remember years ago you having some great ones for Absynth 5.

Hope they replicate that function...I just saw this thread and came to ask if it's still possible to load waveforms - discovering back in the day that the same wave could be used for both a modulator or oscillator was mindblowing!

Thanks.
Not yet.
You can find some presets from me (Mikael Adle) among Absynth 6 factory presets should you want to check.

If you're not aware, all my soundsets for Absynth works perfectly in both Absynth 5 and Absynth 6.

Absynth soundsets.

Infinite inspiration.

The Absynth 6 factory library is like a 'who's who' of great sound designers and synth guru's like Brian Eno, Mark Mothersbaugh and Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith.

Years ago I remember this video, I purchased Absynth a little later.
A superb Synth.
Beware of the gatekeepers and attack dogs and stay safe.

Post

Yes, good synth but waiting for a summer sale or NI Komplete upgrade, the upgrade price is too steep compared with similar SW synth.
