with NI going insolvent, or whatever, shouldn't we - the owners of perhaps a license of one of their software - download a copy, just in case the servers close? I am a bit paranoid about not having access again to Massive X for example, which I have no use for, sadly, due to Omnisphere 3 consuming my time and thought processes related to music, and not insolvency on something I paid top dorrah for you see...
Should we not...?

Or should I just let go of insolvent software company assets that is not hosted anywhere legally anymore, doesn't get tender loving modern day tech updates? (taking it out of the context of NI declaring insolvency)
Sample libraries? Can you still legally use them? Or who do you pay royalties too?
