It's both complicated and simple at the same time.
To make a single MIDI track work with one instance of Kontakt, EastWest, or similar libraries with multiple articulations, you need to allow all MIDI signals to reach it. So you have to set the MIDI input to Omni instead of channel 1, 2, etc.
If you prefer to use multiple MIDI tracks for cleaner recording and arrangement, you need to load each MIDI track separately, set its output to the desired Kontakt instance and channel, then route the input from a MIDI bus coming from Texturium (if your DAW supports it).
Unfortunately, in FL Studio and Ableton Live, native multi-MIDI bus support is limited, so you’ll need to use an external tool like loopMIDI to create virtual MIDI ports.
Whether you use MIDI buses or virtual ports, you then have to set them as the MIDI input for each track.
I know this setup can feel quite cumbersome, but the issue lies with how most DAWs handle multiple MIDI signals, not with Texturium itself. I’ve spent a lot of time trying to find the best possible solution, and it was a real challenge.
Texturium is a complex tool that does complex things, but once everything is properly set up, it lets you work extremely fast.
I hope this helped. Feel free to ask if you have any questions — I’m happy to help.

Understood. I use Cubase which I think will make things a little easier. I think I'll be okay from this point on. Really looking forward to using this. Do you have a donation link on your site?DamianoBaldoni wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2026 7:29 pm It's both complicated and simple at the same time.

Well, I thought I knew how to set this up but apparently I was wrong.
This is what I have so far.
1 instance of Texturium
1 Instance of Opus
Inside of Opus I have 1st and 2nd violins, viola, cello and bass assigned to MIDI channels 1 - 5.
1 MIDI track (so far) transmitting on channel 1.
I have tried every configuration I can think of to get Texturium to transmit MIDI to Opus. Nothing works.
So I'm stuck.

Okay, what version of Cubase are you using? Mine looks completely different so I assume it's not the latest. My routing is completely different from yours and I can't assign my MIDI keyboard to Texturium. It just goes there by default.
I can make screen prints of all of this if you want me to.

Okay, here's what would really help. If you showed how you set up Kontakt because that's the missing piece to this puzzle.

Okay, so here's what I did.
1. I ditched Opus.
2. I brought up an instance of Kontakt.
3. I loaded in 3 different instruments assigning to MIDI channels 1, 2 and 3
4. I turned on your video and followed each instruction.
5. Assign my MIDI keyboard (Keylab 49 Essential) to Texturium MIDI input. Done.
6. Assign Texturium all as MIDI input of plugin I want to play. In this case, Kontakt. I did this on the Kontakt track itself.
7. Set channel to any. Done.
8. Set up piano roll as instructed. Done.
9. Enable playback in each track. Tracks are enabled by default but I disabled and then enabled just to make sure. Done.
10. Play. I now press keys on my MIDI keyboard. The piano roll curser starts to move but there is no sound. I have loop enabled so it keeps looping but there is no sound.
In short, it doesn't work. I don't know why but it doesn't work. Since I am on Cubase version 5 versions ahead of yours there is no way for you to test this.

I'm getting the following message when trying to open the installer:
Apple could not verify “Texturium_PRO_macOS.pkg” is free of malware that may harm your Mac or compromise your privacy.

Yes, I’m guessing the dev does not have an Apple Developer license (I believe it cost around €95 ?) and thus the installers are not signed and triggers gatekeeper on macOS.

Thanks. You're right, I self-signed it and it worked.

Have you drawn some clip with some note?

No worries, there’s no malware.Uncle E wrote: Sat Apr 18, 2026 5:39 am I'm getting the following message when trying to open the installer:

To develop and distribute software for Apple, you need to join the Apple Developer Program, which costs €99 per year. They review your code and issue the certificate.
Right now, I simply can’t afford to spend the €99 for it

Has anyone managed to get Texturium working? I'm looking for feedback.
I'm currently working on a tutorial that shows how to set it up with Kontakt and LoopMIDI.
In the meantime, any feedback would be super helpful. Thanks a lot!
