Finally, the Modular browser only shows the modules, you have installed (v2.5.89).

Have they done much to improve the performance (DSP and graphics) in the past couple years. I bought this when it came out based off my love of softube's compressors but the sound was never worth the cou use and laggy interface. I didn't bother installing it on my last couple systems but thought it may have improved since I last had it. I did have fun with " clouds" and routing the reverb in feedback along with general use as an fx box.

I just want to use Modular to make the Model 80 modules MPE compatible---but it seems like I need to use the Doepfer amp or some other amp that's not part of the Model 80? I did manage to set up four-voice MPE, two oscillators per voice with the Roli module and the Model 80 VCO, VCF, ADSR and Doepfer amp... it took me something like three hours and sounds more like bleep bloop than Model 80. Plus I ran out of room to add the Model 80 LFO or Multipan modules, which might give it more of the Model 80 sound. But since I didn't realize there was a limit on the number of modules I gave each oscillator its Doepfer amp---since each amp module actually has two amps with distinct I/O etc. I could regain a lot of space by eliminating half the Doepfer amps, which *might* let me add the LFO to each oscillator... but I almost certainly won't have room to add the Model 80 Multipan. Oh maybe I could just use one filter and two ADSR if I delete the filter and instead use the mixer out into a single filter and then into a second mixer?... but that's messing with the signal flow, might sound even less like the Prophet 5...

On Mac, I can't find the patches I import. It confirms that the import process has taken place, but then it doesn't appear in the Softube browser. Any ideas?

Maybe some inspiration for you. Patch from my archive, that utilises the MI Clouds module.
