Hi all,

I’m currently working on a bachelor’s project around improving workflow in DAWs, specifically helping users find the right sound faster when using plugins and presets.

The idea is basically a smarter way to browse, organize, and discover presets, instead of scrolling endlessly or relying on default plugin browsers.

I made a quick mockup to explain the concept:

I’m mainly curious about this: Would a tool like this actually be useful for non-professional producers (hobbyists, beginners, etc.)?

From my own experience and conversations with a few people, it seems helpful but I’d like to sanity-check that with a broader and more experienced group.

Any thoughts, criticism, or “this already exists” comments are very welcome.
