I am not just talking about monetary corruption and buying people and countries, I am also thinking about losing one’s soul and the destruction of the soul of others.

The original quote is from Lord Acton (1887):
"Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely."

This a compilation of 5 short videos I have released in 2025. They are slightly edited.
- Sonic Vignette 101 - Get your cereal today (before a billionaire gets it)
- Sonic Vignette 107 - All for me (said the billionaire)
- Sonic Vignette 104 - Money Will Never Make You Happy
- Sonic Vignette 102 - Cheaters
- The Trouble Maker

The speech samples are from various Public Domain movies.
The ones in Sonic Vignettes 107 and 104 are from the first Marx Brothers film, “The Cocoanuts”

Those in “Sonic Vignette 102” and “The Trouble Maker” are from two morals/ethics film from the 1950’s. It’s amazing how obvious parallels with today’s politics can be drawn, and how relevant these parallels are today. They are respectively titled “Cheating” and “The Trouble Maker”. Both are part of the series "Discussion Problems in Group Living” from Centron Productions.

SV 107:
Employees- That’s all very well Mr. Hammer, we haven’t been paid for 2 weeks and we want our wages.
Mr. Hammer (owner) - Wages? You wanna be wage slaves? Answer me that.
Employees- Noooo!
Mr. Hammer (owner) - No, of course not. But what makes wage slaves? Wages!
I want you to be free! Remember, there’s nothing like liberty!
Be free my friends, one for all and all for me!
All for me!
All for me!”

SV 104:
Money will never make you happy... and happy will never make you money.
That might be a wisecrack but I doubt it!

SV 102:
But I don’t think anyone that cheats should hold an office - That’s right, I think we should elect a new representative!

The Trouble Maker:
- “He’s just bragging…kind of guy who’ll say anything to get some attention”
- “I think you’re just plain jealous” (speaking to the trouble maker).
- “In almost every group, you find him: the trouble maker who hurts himself and the others around him… Is the group ever at fault?”
