Is there anywhere online to keep track latest news on the company? I just Google it every few days. Maybe that's the best or only way. Interested as I recently bought a used Maschine+ (at a majorly cut price I might add) and growing to kind of like the company. I never had anything to do with them prior to two weeks ago. Might not have been the ideal moment to jump on board :ud: .

I'm really worried about my NEOLD and Unfiltered Audio plugins they all activate on plugin alliance which is owned by Native Instruments.

Unfiltered Audio is currently working on their own license activation portal thingy

Not saying it's the greatest loss, but since it's almost certain NI will be broken up, unifying presets across so many plugin brands and preset designers under NKS was a huge achievement we are unlikely to see again.

Maschine pads spoiled us! Once you get used to that level of quality, everything else feels like a toy. It’s wild that after all these years, they still hold the crown for the best feel in the game.

The blight of youtube. It's a formula designed over a decade ago by teen youtubers trying to market their stupid videos.

It just sucks to see the decline in izotope, going from quality updates with great feature sets to incentive structures that push users to subscription models for features that are half baked and feel more like bloat / unnecessary rather than constructive. I worry about how Izotope is going to be affected by all this and I've decided to move my workflow away from their software and sell my licenses for ozone and rx🤷

Post

izotope was already pushing upgrades that dropped features a few years before NI bought them.

If NI disappeared the posts here on Kvr would drop with 50%.

There is nothing from NI I am using on a daily/weekly/even monthly basis any longer. I would miss them. But almost entirely in a nostalgic sense. I'm through with me being upset about them - everything I used to use from them have organically been replaced by other things.

I'd love to see a cool comeback though.

the greatest loss is all my NI hardware that doesn't work anymore due to crap driver support. Good riddance to that company.

Totally agree. The same can be said for IK. Their support for their hardware is nearly non-existent. God help you if you buy anything of theirs second hand.

I'll no longer be able to anjoy a panini for lunch properly as the resulting sandwich will sound very silly. I have Replika XT and never bought anything else from NI as it simply doesn't appeal or have much use for me. Sad for NI employees obvs but for me...meh
Seriously one of the best smart a$$ comments I have read today. Bravo!!!!

Agreed on the Maschine pads. I like the feel more than the MPC. Doubt the maschine will continue to be developed now that inmusic owns it.
