Hi, I'm Jan and I work in audio post-production. Mostly dialogue cleanup — podcasts, interviews, panels, sometimes film dialogue. Mic bleed was a pain on pretty much every project. Two hours of manual editing on a single interview, making sure each speaker sounds clean without leakage from the other mics.I spent years trying to solve this with standard tools. Gates on each channel → either they cut off the beginnings and endings of words, or let the bleed through. I was never able to set a gate up so it worked consistently across the whole session. Sidechain compressor → same story. I always ended up back in manual cleanup.
So I wrote my own plugin. It's called AntiBleed and it does one thing: automatically removes bleed on multi-mic recordings. Real-time, zero latency, up to 16 channels. And it works great for me.
Main controls:
- Bleed reject — how aggressively to suppress the bleed
- Noise floor — where useful signal starts above the noise
