I had the same problem. I was missing a few files too. Same error message. I then downloaded Augmented Persia from the Arturia website (under “Resources”) as a ZIP file and installed it. After that, all the files were there.noiseboyuk wrote: Wed Apr 22, 2026 12:43 pm I'm into the hybrid Persia thing and this seems quite promising, but for me it's almost impossible to evaluate as I have a ton missing sample dialogs eg
Also I can't make CC1 do anything. Even mapping it manually to the Morph control in the standalone settings doesn't work.

The samples from this one are not available in Pigments. And I wouldn't compare it to NI's Play series either, since the Play series uses samples only. Arturia uses both samples and wavetables in the_AUGMENTED series.bermudagold wrote: Wed Apr 22, 2026 2:31 pm you realize these are most likely just pigments presets with custom macro guis?...they want to be able to sell these to people that don't own pigments...same thing NI is doing with the Play series...same philosophy as UVI...I'm sure UVI workstation is just falcon with functionality turned off...just makes more sense for development resource efficiency

I like the thing itself, but I'm a real sucker for this atmospheric Middle Eastern stuff. It's very niche, won't be of interest to most here, but it does what I'd hoped it would. At 29 euros I'll have to get it, but I do want them sort out this CC1 glitch I seem to have first.

But they should be available inside of Pigments. The Augmented series would be much more compelling to me and I am sure others if the samples and Wavetables inside of Augmented were also available to Pigments for owners of them.starflakeprj wrote: Wed Apr 22, 2026 4:04 pmThe samples from this one are not available in Pigments. Would also make upgrades to the V Collection more interesting because you would get new stuff to use in Pigments

I usually like the Augmented series, but i don´t find any of the sounds i heard in both demo videos very good (highly subjective if course). Might not get that, even it´s only 29€.

Have to agree. I think the raw instruments sound good but the demos were not making me want to pop out the credit card. It will be part of V Collection soon-ish anyhow.adl wrote: Wed Apr 22, 2026 5:11 pm I usually like the Augmented series, but i don´t find any of the sounds i heard in both demo videos very good (highly subjective if course). it is comparable to play series...Kontakt is a hybrid synth like all the other flagship workstations...kontakt has VA, granular, additive, and osc fx in addition to pcm...thats why the whole hybrid synth market is so funny...cause probably 80% of kvr already has Kontakt...they just never bother to learn it...it's not rocket science objectively...most "augmented" sounds from all these hybrid synths sound relatively the same...pcm layer plus granular layer plus additive layer, adjust volume levels of each layer to taste...run through copious amounts of modulation until the sound is as gimmicky as possible, then drench in shimmer reverb...rinse and repeat...volume crossfade morph or spectral morph between layers for presets...voila lolstarflakeprj wrote: Wed Apr 22, 2026 4:04 pmThe samples from this one are not available in Pigments. 80% seems high. Or were you including the number that downloaded the Free Player version?
I wonder how many of us that has it now has had it with NI and because of that leave Kontakt uninstalled.

Now you are comparing Kontakt with the _AUGMENTED series, so apples with cucumbers. Play series has none of that in themselves.bermudagold wrote: Wed Apr 22, 2026 7:30 pmit is comparable to play series...Kontakt is a hybrid synth like all the other flagship workstations...kontakt has VA, granular, additive, and osc fx in addition to pcm...thats why the whole hybrid synth market is so funny...cause probably 80% of kvr already has Kontakt...they just never bother to learn it...it's not rocket science objectively...most "augmented" sounds from all these hybrid synths sound relatively the same...pcm layer plus granular layer plus additive layer, adjust volume levels of each layer to taste...run through copious amounts of modulation until the sound is as gimmicky as possible, then drench in shimmer reverb...rinse and repeat...volume crossfade morph or spectral morph between layers for presets...voila lolstarflakeprj wrote: Wed Apr 22, 2026 4:04 pmThe samples from this one are not available in Pigments. I was under the impression that NI was market leader and that komplete being the highest value proposition in the market was a runaway hit, especially with black friday deals...doesn't base komplete (except entry level select) come with full kontakt?...I assumed kontakt at this point was relatively ubiquitousBBFG# wrote: Wed Apr 22, 2026 7:35 pm 80% seems high. no Im not...the "light" series was literally the original "play" series...it was the blueprint...you can even see it in the gui which has been reused ever since...for ex straylight and hybrid keys are both hybrid instruments...they are kontakt libraries...the only difference between kontakt player and kontakt is whether NI is getting a cutstarflakeprj wrote: Wed Apr 22, 2026 7:37 pmNow you are comparing Kontakt with the _AUGMENTED series, so apples with cucumbers. So, where in any of these interfaces do you find the oscillators?

I'm just saying it's a derailment of a numbers game that really doesn't tell us anything that important. It may be that high or not. But it counters with all the other numbers of who actually uses it and to what level of product they actually use.bermudagold wrote: Wed Apr 22, 2026 7:48 pmI was under the impression that NI was market leader and that komplete being the highest value proposition in the market was a runaway hit, especially with black friday deals...doesn't base komplete (except entry level select) come with full kontakt?...I assumed kontakt at this point was relatively ubiquitousBBFG# wrote: Wed Apr 22, 2026 7:35 pm 80% seems high. Back to topic.
I found the demo plays of this too derivative and stereotypical to be as imaginative as the others in the series. But hopefully more will show up to show beyond this. My price was $29 though and these types of instruments hit my wheel house. So yes, immediate buy.
