GUI is perfect now, thanks for working over the issue on Waveform 13. Is there a way to save patches on the horizon please?

The new version works in Luna. Both the sound and graphics issues are fixed. T4 seems to not be behaving properly (there's no release).d

Ensure the ENV Mode in the VCA is set to either the 3rd or 4th setting, the other two modes in there are gate only. This relates to ENV 2 Hope this helps.Uncle E wrote: Mon Apr 13, 2026 6:50 pm The new version works in Luna. Both the sound and graphics issues are fixed. something else, If I reminder my old alpha juno1, hoover sound is done with a modulated sawtooth, a modulated square and some noise. In this plugin you can only have 2 oscillators at the same time !

From what I understand from the alpha-juno synths, that Saw wave can also be controlled by the PWM sliders.Essent wrote: Sun Apr 19, 2026 7:04 pm How would the harmonics look like of that middle waveform (saw shaped)? Is that the Juno saw?

Yes, definitely will write a manual eventually, unfortunately I haven't done it yet though..Boudin wrote: Sun Apr 19, 2026 5:32 pm I would like a manual. Don't have any ideas what R, B, S, S+R means in the x-mod selector, and velocity X, Y, V+Z, V+Y

To quickly answer your questions, "R" is "ring modulation", "B" is "bit modulation", a novel form of ring modulation that would have been easy to implement back in the 80s, and "S" is hard-sync
"Y" is the timbre control - this is probably pretty useful for MPE controllers but not otherwise.
"Z" is aftertouch (supports poly-aftertouch as well)
As you've probably noticed this something like a "two-oscillator" version of the alpha Juno. If you look at Roland's 1-osc synths like Juno-60, Juno-106, alpha Juno, they have a more complex oscillator that can have multiple shapes at once. For the 2-oscillators synths like JX-3P and JX-8P, often each oscillator was a bit more limited with a single shape. So that was the idea here, it's not supposed to be exactly the same as the alpha Juno. Hopefully there's enough fun stuff to play around with.Boudin wrote: Sun Apr 19, 2026 5:35 pm something else, If I reminder my old alpha juno1, hoover sound is done with a modulated sawtooth, a modulated square and some noise. I'm not totally sure what the harmonics would look like, might be fun to play with a spectrum analyzer! But the idea is it's a "PWM-modulated" saw wave, similar to the one in the alpha Juno.Essent wrote: Sun Apr 19, 2026 7:04 pm How would the harmonics look like of that middle waveform (saw shaped)? What's the general verdict? Sound, CPU usage?

I think it sounds good. CPU is low
