I don't get them with anything else.
I've tried every trick such as adjusting note lengths to avoid overlaps. I wrote to Kirk Hunter but he's mystified.
I'd like to understand better what makes midi notes hang.
Can you help?

Thank you so much for the tip about both the KSP Midi Monitor Utility and the possible Kontakt MIDI feedback issueZombie Queen wrote: Sun Oct 01, 2017 10:55 pm First check where is the problem. Load Midi monitor script to Kontakt's multiscipt tab (on top of the instruments - little KSP button). Enable note on and off plus 'verbose mode' you will have all note on and note off messages listed. When a hung note appears you can check if Kontakt received the corresponding note off. If it did it's the problem with the instrument, if not it's the problem outside. Since it only happens with particular instruments in Kontakt maybe it's something there.

Edit: Another idea is to check if you have MIDI out enabled for Kontakt, if you do and you have omni as 'MIDI in' you will end up with Kontakt receiving back notes it generated itself (I constantly forget to turn it off in Sonar). Which can cause different troubles, hanging notes included.
