Nice. I've got old Cambridge SoundWorks. At the right/resonant frequencies the 5 inch sub sounds shakes the room. Pretty distorted sound though.

I couldn't find any examples of it being struck, and suspect its current use is ornamental rather than musical.

memphis gong chamber have some excellent performances - this one uses the large gong but they sure have a huge collection of other ones
