I met her years ago. Very nice person. She had become a very serious Christian.

That's quite a young age. It seems that the poor thing had been very ill.

Moya Brennan
, the lead singer of Clannad
, died on April 13, 2026, at age 73 from complications of pulmonary fibrosis. She had been living with the progressive lung condition for several years, following her diagnosis, but continued to perform and record until her passing.

My fav' Clannad song sung by Máire Brennan (before she changed her name to Moya Brennan).

May she rest in peace. I don't know much about Clannad other than the excellent soundtrack of Robin of Sherwood.
