i guess it is also somewhat possible just with a ramp lfo with delayed onset and bent shape via slew and symmetry.
it is a simple example with many possible solutions.
handling all that visually directly on a graph of course would be so much more precise and superior, but i am just repeating my points here.

If you want certain movements to happen over time on subsequent, short notes, maybe this trick will do it:

Create 3-5 different MSEG curves for what's supposed to happen at different stages of the movement. Make sure they morph so that the in-between corresponds to the desired transitions.

Take a LFO in sync mode to morph between the MSEG Curves.

Alternatively, if you need complex patterns, morph the MSEG with a Mapper, and run the mapper either by increment or with that same LFO. Then you can have distinct MSEG curves at distinct notes, you're basically sequencing the MSEG shapes over time through different notes.

thank you, Urs. all valuable and interesting insights, that i will try out.

have to mention though, that this would cost me in the first case 1 extra modulator and in the second case even 2 extra modulators. there i would probably just stick to my external method, "spending" only the one macro knob.
with the "free running" MSEG no additional modulators needed and of course being able to use that ace graphical interface in a straight forward way.

but i dont want to harp on too much about my specific wishes, i am glad you saw my post and maybe you will include it in your considerations for a future update. thanks!

Dear Urs,

don't get me wrong, I'm not an "ecologist" or something like that, but why do you want me to throw away a perfectly working PC?
That is - why did you abandon multithreading from Diva & Repro?
Joining the Microsoft bandwagon, for what.
This solution with suggestions how to optimize patch is so slow and strange...

Now the computer parts sellers will jump: you suck, you need new CPU (and I do have a new CPU). But I also like to see threads on my old CPU used efficiently.
Programming has become garbage recently. Well, it is difficult.

Because more and more computers today and tomorrow have asymmetric CPU cores, and we need to figure out how to compute our threads only on performance cores. Otherwise the performance gets a lot worse, like Diva and Repro on Apple silicon (but also e.g. on my Thinkpad).

Is it possible to put in a check to see if the CPU does not have asymmetric CPU Cores (such as all AMD processors) and allow the traditional multithreading?

Great Synth, high CPU means I am getting value for money not wasting capacity on high end CPU!

How do I import samples and set up the sequencer?
