Super J8 - Jupiter-8 emulation.

Audiokit app, looks and sounds great. Only 8 bucks until end of Feb!

Just saw on YT. Sounds fantastic.

I wonder if they will make it into other formats for PC and Mac. :) I think Sunrizer started this way also.

That would be a dream but I don't think it would cost $8.00....

Audiokit released only very few of their app as Universal Purchase. So, Desktop version is very unlikely anytime soon. But money can be strong incentive. ;)

PS: yes, Sunrizer started as iOS-App then had a shortlived appearance as Desktop-VST and now works as Universal Purchase for iOS and macOS (M1-series).

I still have Sunrizer. Can't get it to authorize.

Well, shoot, I was going to pick this up, but it says, "Recommended Devices: iPad: 2016 iPad Pro (A9X) or newer"

Anyone try it on an iPad older than that?

Post

I am able to run it on an iPad 6th Gen.

This is just the recent (absolut) minimal Software requirement since Apple won't sign updates / new software for older iOS than that. So, if your iOS is below 16.75.5 (latest for iPor A9X) you get to download an older version of the app - but definitely your iPad must be 64-Bit. Apples does no longer provide 32-bit apps (see "32 bit Appocalypse").

Sunrizer itself comes from the days of iPad 2 and still runs well on my iPad Air 1 (~2013?!) with iOS 10.11 (64bit).

Post

Yeah, it looks like anything beyond version 1.0.5 requires an iPad A9X or higher.
