I put a new song in my music website called "Hoping For Some Peace"; it's the song on top. I am not seeking political commentary, though I would like to know how you like the song, and how it can be improved; and I will return the favor! Leave a link if you don't have a recent thread. Aaron, what's up? Okay, gotta ask. What synth did you use for the synth bass? It's really good. If I had to guess I'd say Diva. Anyway, love the song. It's good old classic Aardvark. Oh that synth sweep around the middle. What synth was that? Also sounded really cool. Last question. Rhythm guitar. What processing did you run it through? Sorry for all the questions but your stuff sounds so cool.

Great production and playing! I agree with wagtunes regarding the synth bass - especially how it co-exists with the bass guitar. The guitar solo is excellent - what did you use for the sound? Well done!

wagtunes,
Thank you for listening and replying! I appreciate it! After the hi-hat at the very beginning, the second sound is Cherry Audio P-10 (emulates a Sequential Circuits Prophet 10 double keyboard synth) sequencer synth. After the lead guitar is a Hive 2 sound effect I tweaked (modified stock preset). Halfway into the verse: double tracked rhythm guitars with Helix: Noise Gate, Script Mod Phase phaser model, Scream 808 distortion model, PV Panama amp model, 4x12 WhoWatt 100 cabinet model, 421 Dynamic mic model, 1x12 Lead 80 cabinet model, stereo Mod/Chorus Echo, Optical Trem tremolo model, LA Studio Comp limiter model, and Plate reverb.
During the chorus, there are double tracked rhythm guitars with Tonex: VH Pack Modern VH amp model and cabinet model (I think I got that for free from IK's patch sharing website), with Tonex chorus effect.

Wow, that's a lot of info. Thanks. The P-10 sounds great.

I also liked it! Many nice sounding elements and some nice transitions in music that make the song go beyond the standard norms.... I think the way that drums blend with the rest of the mix can be improved. Ideally,a human playing real drums could add additional value to the song IMO.

oneguitarband,
Thank you for listening to my song and commenting! I appreciate it! I am not a real drummer, and my neighbors would freak out if I was. I have recorded real drummers play in the past, and it's difficult to sound half way decent.

It's really good Aaron. The vocals are decent and the drums are realistic!
