I went through all the steps. I reactivated the license. I checked to make sure the factory content is installed and it is. Under activated it has an X. I assume that means it's not. So I went through the process and downloaded the license file. Still no sound.

Has anyone else has this problem and if so how did you fix it?

Okay, I completely uninstalled Rapid. I brought up the Rapid demo. It works fine.

I redownloaded the Rapid exe and factory content and reinstalled everything. It still makes no sound and shows the factory content as being installed but not activated. No matter how many times I go through the activation process it doesn't activate.

This is very frustrating.

Windows 11 and I installed the latest version. 1.8.10

I remember 1.8.9 broke activation and the dev issued a hotfix with 1.8.10. Maybe try 1.8.8?

I tried going all the way back to 1.8.0. Nothing works.

Oh well, looks like it's dead in the water. I don't expect the company to get back to me either based on the reports I've heard.

I feel sorry for anybody buying this piece of shit today.

Might be worth trying to activate it in another DAW like Reaper to see if that works.

Sorry no doubt that's frustrating.

They would probably still answer support tickets but who knows. . .

I don't have another DAW. And even if I did, if it doesn't work in Cubase it does me no good.

I can feel your pain wagtunes.

This company PARAWAVE is unresponsive, their plugin is dead for years now.

They make promises that they can not keep about development.

I am using 1.8.8.3 and that works fine.

I never get any notifications of updates to Rapid so I haven't changed it, works in Reaper too.

I do wish this company would be more active , just to make sure things like this doesn't happen. I don't want updates, just stability.

I should have added, I am also using Cubase 15 ,latest version on Win 11.

Then it has to have something to do with me upgrading my PC and with the Windows upgrade to 11 something got messed up. Oh well, I have hundreds of plugins. I'll live without this one. But they have lost a customer.
