Got it. Im using the web based version so its easy for anyone to just jump in and try it. I will probably do VST/AU when its stable and if there is enough interest in this. Such a conversion is not that hard nowadays when you can use AI for assistance

When I hit refresh it says "scanning patch names" and counts up to 100%, then says status ready. but the names & parameters never sync.
If I name a patch in the editor and hit "save" it pushes current parameters, including the name, to the mopho desktop, but it doesnt actually trigger a save, I still need to save on the hardware.
There is 2 way communication of some sort because param changes, and patch numbers on the hardware update on the editor, and vice versa, but the must be moved individually to get them synced.
Yes AFAIK also the 2 devices should be same midi spec. Apart from the keyboard I believe the only change internally is the input gain/feedback is a paramater on the keyboard while a physical pot on the desktop...

What happens when you press the refresh button next to where you select midi in and out to the editor?
killthewiseone wrote: Fri Mar 27, 2026 7:46 pm This is cool, thanks for sharing! Love the layout and UI.
I'm testing with a mopho desktop module, which is connected via a motu soundcard midi DIN. I seem to have 2-way communication, in that changes on the ui are reflected on the synth and vice versa, and I can select patches. the UI is also aware of what user patch I am on, but it never pulls the patch names successfully. On refresh I see "scanning patch names" but they never sync. I notice the ui doesnt sync on patch change either, or when pressing the sync button. I'm wondering is it a midi setting I have incorrect on the mopho?
I'm using chrome browser btw.
Midi related global settings are below...
Midi Channel: All
Clock: Midi Out
MParam Send: NPRN
MParam Rec: All
Midi Control: On
Midi Sysex: On
Midi OutSel: Out
M Progrm Ch: On

heey, logged in for the first time in a decade just to say thank you for this! It's exactly what I wanted but couldn't find before!
I am a bit confused by the keyboard layout, most software use something like
2 3 5 6 7
Q W E R T Y U I
S D G H J
Z X C V B N M N
for two octaves, but your layout has some sharp notes on the main row, some on the row above... just curious what the pattern is with this software
Thanks again!

I took a break from this project just for a while because of too much at work. But now im all in again. Going to go thorough all feedback I got, get rid of some bugs and try get a new version out there. Regarding keyboard its just something I threw in there so I have to take closer look on that one.
