Edit: I guess it was this:

(It's the "BUY UPDATE" button on: https://waldorfmusic.com/ppg-wave-3-v-en/ )
51 euros feels a bit pricey to me for this update with a blurry zoom. Am I alone?

Maybe its worth to wait for a sale…

I was hoping they would finish this update - give it proper enlargement like... 1000s of other plugins!

In all honesty, just get the Microwave 1 plugin and forget this one. It's really a better instrument in nearly every way.

Indeed, Microwave 1 is one gem of a plugin (probably Waldorf's best plugin imo) they really hit the right spot with it. Way more fun to use and of course up to date workflow wise.

Nonetheless I feel the PPG Wave 3V still brings a sonic signature the Microwave doesn't. Not better or worse, but they do sound different even if they share the same DNA. I can understand the appeal of using the PPG Wave. The wait-for-sale tactic is a wise one, as it's often in sale quite cheap.

I think it’s just the filter, eh? If Waldorf put their PPG Wave filter into Microwave 1, we’d be set.

Yeah I have the iPad version it’s cool. Wouldn’t mind the desktop one but still my ppgwave 3 v1 is sitting there being unused and even 51 euros upgrade is a lot less than microwave even on sale (which I’ve seen for 99). Probably just wait to see if there is a sale.
