In no particular order -
- Soundspot's Union because we use it in probably 90% of our songs and it always gets the job done.
- DS Thorn for the Glitch Sequencer and it's super easy workflow.
- Proxima for it's gritty sound and ease of use.
- bx_oberhausen because it's my favourite SEMulation and there is something special about the way SEM sounds.
Realistically, though, I'd need Battery for drums and life would be pretty hard without half-a-dozen different Kontakt libraries we use regularly. But these four synths are pretty much the backbone of everything we do.

Pianoteq (physical modeling, does that count as a synth?)
Diva
Zebra 3
Pigments I guess. But I would really miss not having Repro (allthough it's more limited than the other synths, somehow I just love to use it)

TAL NoiseMaker
Charlatan3

I might also add ThornCM (it has a faster workflow than the full version, which I also have), but right now I’m only using the two plugins mentioned above.

This doesn't include samplers and drum synths, right? What about free synths?
Then Icarus, Hive, TAL-MOD, and Razor.
As much as I love Repro, Hive has a lot of overlap with it! If I buy Zebra 3, that might replace TAL-MOD AND Hive in the list, giving room for OPS7 or Synclavier V

I have too many good ones to just choose only four.
If it is just at this moment, I'd say:
Icarus 3
Synthmaster 3
Diva
Dune 3
I really should check out Massive X again.
I have it, but I just haven't made the time to learn all it can do.
