just for the record, Construction Time is Depeche Mode's worst album. If you're into the early synth pop stuff, get speak and spell. If you like the mid 80's pre Black Celebration, get Some Great Reward. or, just get the earlier singles collection.
oh and you should add Kraftwerk, OMD, New Order, When in Rome, Heaven 17, Numan, Human League, etc. to the list.
and as probably the only canadian around, i would sadly say that skinny puppy are way better than FLA unless you're some kind of uber goth person but beware, Skinny Puppy albums are very hit or miss. get Bites or maybe Vivisect or Too dark park or The Process or new album but avoid everything else like the plague. especially above all, stay away from Last Rights unless you don't mind listening to complete noise (i'm not talking about Stockhausen/Varese type of interesting noise, I mean shitty "i'm on Canadian Drugs that I bought on some Vancouver whore house" type of noise).
