Hi everyone 🙂

I’m working on Transientik Master, a VST3 / AU plugin and standalone app for Windows and macOS designed to simplify the mastering process.

The idea is pretty straightforward: put it on your master bus, let it analyze the track, choose the destination — streaming, CD, vinyl pre-master, DJ set, soundtrack, loud master, etc. — and then fine-tune if needed.

It originally started as a tool to clean up and master AI-generated music, but during testing it turned out to work surprisingly well on regular human-made tracks too.

It’s not trying to replace a great mastering engineer, obviously. It’s more for producers, musicians and bedroom studios who want a faster, cleaner starting point without building a full mastering chain from scratch every time.

No cloud processing, no “AI magic” mystery box. Just local DSP, analysis, and practical mastering decisions.

There’s a before/after player here: https://transientik.com

Release date coming soon — I’ll also be selecting a few beta testers.

Small independent project, but I’m genuinely excited to share it.

Will you be able to set the Lufs for each song?
Or is it all auto?
And if so is that what your different "destinations" are?

Post

You can choose your target LUFS and TP from the destinations menu in the automation section, then use assisted fine tuning or dig deeper in the Advanced panel and tweak all the mastering chain in detail, easily tuning the LUFS you want.

These are the available destinations:

Well now that's impressive control lurking under the hood.
The initial video tends to make things super simple, I get why that would be the case.

Any idea the price range and any demo available yet?
I'd really like to side by side it with Izotope Ozone.

Post

The price range I am targeting is:
  • 19,99 for the plugin (Mac/PC)
  • 29,99 for the standalone app (Mac/PC)
  • 34,99 for the plugin+app bundle

I am an independent developer and I want to keep the prices affordable for everyone :)
The Beta program for the plugin is starting soon (probably next week), subscribe for the Beta on the website if you didn't already, you'll get an email with instructions as soon as the program starts.

Thanks for your interest! :ud:

$19.99 for the plugin? I’m sold. I love new plugins and especially the ones that fall under the moderately affordable category. Looking forward to this!

I think you should just have one price for plugin+app, and remove the piecemeal options. People tend to react negatively to that, and it only leads to hesitation for them and headaches for you. Are you going to let people upgrade from the app to the bundle for $5? Or are you going to make them pay the full $19.99 if they decide they want the plugin later? Is it worth all the extra support requests you’ll get from confused and upset users?

Just do $29.99 for both, take it or leave it.

Just to give some honest feedback:

I visited your website and tried listening to the examples. The perceived loudness difference between the before and after samples is so large that it feels uncomfortable and a bit misleading. I ended up leaving the site after about 10 seconds.

I’m not saying you’re intentionally using the "loudness trick", but that’s something many less trustworthy services tend to rely on.

Level-matched examples would do a much better job of showing the true potential of your work.

Or just do the $19.99 plugin and forget standalone. Only a small fraction of users will want standalone.

In that case, just throw the app in since it’s just a checkbox in JUCE and it’s already done. Maybe split the difference and charge $24.99.

Thanks for your feedback! Absolutely appreciated.
Since the scope for this tool (I initially developed for myself to finalize SUNO tracks) was creating "streaming-ready" material at a "competitive" loudness without destroying the audio, that's what I focused on for the Before/After tracks.
All the examples are raw songs from SUNO v5.5 that has gone through the "Streaming Loud" preset (-9,5 LUFS, -1.0 dBTP) of the plugin, and untouched from there (no further fine-tuning).
I will add more examples, one for each preset to the Before/After in the next days, in order to have an idea of the audio quality at lower LUFs.

The list of the actual destination presets is available above.

Thanks to all for the pricing suggestions.
The standalone version I am working on is mostly targeted to AI content creators who doesn't have a DAW. It will not just be a checkbox in JUCE, but I'm building a very basic DAW (probably more an "advanced player") that will load the VST3 and will allow working on a track as you would do in a DAW, with realtime listening, etc.
This will allow to have all the plugin functionalities without having to use virtual sound cards or other tricks.

That's why I was thinking about the 3 tiers. I'll think about it further and maybe throw everything in the 19,99 price... we'll see how long it takes to finalize the app.

Hello everyone,
the opening of the Transientik Master VST3/AU Beta is getting closer.
I’m currently finalizing a dedicated Beta platform where selected testers will be able to share their experiences, report bugs, leave impressions, and of course interact with each other.

The plugin will be fully functional for Beta testers, with no feature limitations. It will include an integrated 1-month activation period, which can be refreshed on request if needed.

I’m planning to start with a first batch of around 30 Beta testers, then gradually add more people every week. I’ve received an overwhelming number of requests, so early applicants will naturally have priority access — but if you’re interested, you can still request access here: https://transientik.com/

In the meantime, I’ve added a few new features to the plugin, including a vectorscope to help keep an eye on stereo width. The interface has also been cleaned a bit:

There is also a horizontal mode to fit any screen (retina as well):

On the website, you can now listen to all the mastering targets in action — untouched, just the automatic pass — and explore a couple of additional genres. The original and target loudness is indicated for each track and target, so you can judge how similar loudness levels sound:

I really hope to see many of you in the Beta program.

Thanks again for the interest and support!
