I read somewhere that the amps in Paradise Studio are more cpu efficient. My demo is over and I recently realized how much of a cpu hog the stand alone plugs are. Can anyone confirm this, and maybe quantify it a bit? That might push me over the edge to upgrade.

It's just a bit limited, would like more phaser optionsUncle E wrote: Fri May 08, 2026 12:13 am Good point about the pitch delay. It comes with a Phase 90, do you mean you'd prefer something different?

True. I doubt it'll happen, though.

This was true on my system - at least for the Vox emulation. My demo ran out too, and unfortunately; I can't remember the details.bk wrote: Fri May 08, 2026 11:05 pm I read somewhere that the amps in Paradise Studio are more cpu efficient. Finally demoed this, to me this sounds better than the technically superior sims (e.g TONEX, NAM). Best GUI, tons of sweetspots, all the pedals are great, limited options but that's actually an advantage imo. It sounds very real to me, I dont know how to explain it.

Taste really is a personal thing.
I would love if they sell a version with just the suite of effects, but I would never use this instead of Tonex.
