Both free and full versions:

Happy mixing!
Hakan
I'm a great fan of Hakan's plugins as well! Interesting, crazily efficient and great sounding.
You can barely even detect them with live's cpu meter. I grabbed all the plugin versions
actually. :)

Great stuff if you're on win. :tu:

Whoever decided to leak the "information" that the best limiter ever is coming from a known developer, and then refuse to say who that developer is has created a really stupid situation. I find the whole thing a bit annoying, if I'm honest.

I've got a secret and I'm not going to tell you. Oh and by the way, there's no point in the secrecy.

CNN EXCLUSIVE: People familiar with the matter say an unknown developer is at the center of unfolding concerns, without evidence.

Thanx for the compliment! :D

And yes, the incident turned into a situation with imminent probability.

Totally agree. I can understand not talking about price and features but saying who the dev is.. come on. I'm planning on getting Pro-L 2 but I'm waiting to see who that dev and product is. If I knew the dev in advance I could already know if it's iLok protected and just buy Pro-L 2 now.

There was recently some company going around looking for testers of an upcoming mastering limiter brandishing an NDA. It looked like they use AI onboard which was not really of interest to me.

Heh, also I am not even Padawan level I think, not to mention I have a big mouth.

I'm more like car salesman level, I can point out the features and know how to use them,
but I can't really afford to drive one myself.

I am taking a wild guess at Tone Projects as they would have the chops to pull off an amazing limiter, just a guess.

Really liking AL-1, the opportunistic release curve and optimizer are nice. Then again, I am not driving it much, as it is not needed on the tracks I tested.

Right, whether it is worth holding out for depends on other factors beyond sound. Pricing, OS/DAW support, likelihood of long term maintenance...

I actually disagree. Knowing another limiter is coming soon helped me avoid impulse purchasing AL-1. But I guess that's my own GAS problem

Many years ago I read in a paper magazine (yeah, that long ago) about ProTools. People were complaining that they had invested sooooo much money into it and now that the new 16bit stuff is getting released this becomes obsolete and the new stuff costs soooooo much money, again.
The conclusion of that article was that there are people who use what they got right now and make money with that. While others complain.

The new upcoming limiter is by Pulsar Modular!!!

Not really I'm just joking. I have no clue about it.
I remember reading some writings by p900 about loudness and/or brickwall limiters in another forum.
Just wild guessing...

Fair enough. I'll help out by telling you that another well respected mystery developer has developed the greatest compressor ever heard, a fantastic EQ that's better than anything else, and a soft synth that will make all the others obsolete. I can't talk about who they are though. Could be released any time in the next few weeks, months or years.

That's your budget sorted :)
