I agree that for those of us with multiple Komplete purchases, that the $300 won't fly off the shelf. I've not verified that some previous content has been removed from the standard version, but if true, someone needs to be fired ASAP. That flies in the face of NI's historical sales policy. What morons would think that could go un-noticed? The soon-to-be fired ones?

I went from Komplete 12 to hard-drive based 13, came close to each subsequent release, but chose hardware instead, IK UNO and Tonex Plug, with Pianoverse and most of the IK MAX bundles to have options down the roads of time, to explore. I think it will take a month or two for sanity to prevail, and some stable plan to emerge going forward. Hiring great innovative coders won't be easy or cheap. The website forums could use some help

Well, it doesn't have to be adding stuff as much as it could be updating existing plugins. For instance, if it was $300 for Massive X II, FM 8 II, and Battery 5, I could see myself thinking about it. I wouldn't mind the new sample based stuff, but that's all you seem to get, if you already updated Absynth. I can't believe years have gone by since they released a MIDI controller with polyphonic aftertouch, and almost all of their instruments still don't recognize it.

In the early days Komplete actually contained every product in their lineup.

I'd instantly get my wallet out in case they committed themselves to continue Battery development in a meaningful way. But they won't.

So personally, I possibly won't even buy any Komplete updates in a sale. I'll be looking for a Kontakt 8 update sale for compatibility reasons and that was it. Otherwise I might be completely done with NI. They simply f***ed me up too often.

Well, of course Native Instruments makes this as tedious as possible, requiring you to go through multiple clicks and multiple pages, have two different web pages open simultaneously, and then cross-check lists manually, which is extra painful because one list is alphabetized and the other is not. You can't convince me they don't do this on purpose. But, here are the Expansions that are NOT included in Komplete '26 Collector's Edition:

It's a tough saturated market. In Music will have to have an NI boss, who will have to know who worked on what, their skill level going forward, and who might be available for hire, or transfer. And the state of the code should new eyes have a look. Ain't gonna be easy, but I hope they succeed.

I am happy that I never got into the complete trap. The upgrades for standard are more valuable than those for any complete… (Unless you are heavy into preset packs.) And I can wait…

With the Leap expansions, they’re all Image Sounds or Wave Alchemy products sold through NI. Most of the missing Maschine expansions are mostly quite old and never made it into any of the CE bundles according to gNNY’s spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... 2062935365

Those were made by Loopmaster by the looks of it, who may have a different deal with NI.

Maschine Central looks like it was made for the M3 launch. I don’t know whether it’s a compilation made from other expansions or whether it just got missed.

If you don't really use the Machine and Leap Expansions, or any of the Play series, this doesn't really have a lot of value for you. Some. I think I can justify it at sale price, but barely.
