It seems some shops are listing a new Newfangled Audio plugin Fixate:Midrange. Unfortunately not yet listed on the Newfangled or Eventide website and no demo yet as far as I can see, but Newfangled usually create very good plugins, so I presume this might be something interesting. Here is some information.
---
Fixate:Midrange
Intelligent midrange problem correction
Melody, harmony, texture, ambience... all fighting for space in the midrange, all causing problems. Fixate:Midrange clears the mud, tames the harshness, and restores balance to the busiest region of your mix. Just Analyze, Fix, and wonder why midrange was ever hard.
At a Glance:
Intelligent midrange problem detection
One-click Analyze + Fix workflow
Six targeted issue controls
Dynamic processing (only activates when needed)
Works on master bus, vocals, guitars, and more
Six Problems. Six Knobs. Zero Guesswork.
Fixate targets Mud, Thinness, Honk, Nasalness, Harshness, and Spectral Imbalance with dedicated processors that transparently tame problems to bring out punch and clarity. Analyze your track, press fix, and get fast, reliable results. Or to get hands on, follow visual hints which highlight problem areas across the plugin on knobs, meters, and throughout the interface.
Finding Balance.
Built for the master bus but flexible enough for any track, Fixate:Midrange works on vocals, guitars, synths, or any critical midrange source. The Balance section refines your overall tone while preserving character, so the result stays true to your sound, just cleaner and more controlled. Ideal for producers who want better mixes and engineers who want them faster.
Features
Critical-band resonance detection modeled on human hearing
Six intelligent dynamic processors targeting Mud, Thinness, Honk, Nasalness, Harshness, and Spectral Balance
Independent Mid and Side channel processing
Real-time resonance meter with integrated HINTMAP problem display
Spectral Balance correction across 15 frequency bands with learnable profiles
One-button ANALYZE and FIX workflow
Match profiles for Mastering, Vocals, Guitar, and more (or learn your own from any reference audio)
Per-band enable, solo, and delta listening tools
Midrange Focus listening mode to audition the midrange in isolation
Automatic gain compensation and A/B comparison
Full Preset Librarian with Categories, Tags, Descriptions, UNDO, and A/B Comparison
Fully resizable UI with Color options
Includes Professional Presets for Mastering, Vocals, and more

Demo is available now: https://www.eventideaudio.com/demo/?pro ... 3AMidrange
Loyalty price seems to be the same as the intro price (at least for me).

maybe im using it wrong or my mixes are so well (with Ozone 12 i get more noticable adjustments) but it doesnt do much somehow, i tested 10 songs and it only did minor changes which sounded not bad but i wouldnt have noticed them if i woulnt have A/B'ed them carefully.
