I just got an email from SoundMorph about their next big plugin release. It's called PHUZE, and it's supposed to be out on May 12th. I know they've been working on this for quite a while, and I'm really excited to see the result of their efforts. I'm sure that it will be very cool!!

I got Time Flux(?) for free and Dust for $19 recently. Haven't experienced any bugs.

Time Flux is such a cool application, and I still use it from time to time. It can host 4 VST’s, and does some wild spectral processing, morphing, time-stretching, and pitching.Cuauhtli wrote: Sat May 09, 2026 1:51 pm I got Time Flux(?) for free and Dust for $19 recently. It would be great if it was revisited by SoundMorph, and updated for modern systems. Or maybe some of the tech might show up as part of PHUZE. That would be exciting!

SoundMorph has released their PHUZE sound design instrument for an intro price of $99 https://soundmorph.com/products/phuze. I'm really happy to see that minimum system requirements include older OS's, so that a wider audience can use the software. For Mac it's OS X 10.11 (or later), and PC is Windows 10 (or later), a multicore processor, and 16 GB's of RAM.
My first impression is that the concept reminds me a bit of Twisted Tools' S-Layer Reaktor ensemble. Those that have used Twisted Tools ensembles will know what I mean. But SoundMorph has clearly cranked it up a few notches, and PHUZE certainly looks like a great VST for even deeper experimentation.
The multi-band feature alone, will allow much more precise control over the frequency content, which will really be of help during the layering process. And I appreciate anything that can help to make the mixing a little easier. Here's the first overview video:

You can import your own samples. I'm guessing you can shuffle them as well

looks quite amazing - a useful addition to products like Soundweaver. A bit more targeted to musicians maybe. I did not see if one can drag the result out to the DAW. Early days so no manual or loyalty/bundle pricing which is fair enough at this stage.
