Nice! Solid groove—I was dancing in my chair right away.
When the data is corrupt in the Desert of the Real, Beyond the Last Thought, where intuition reigns, is the solace that will embolden and strengthen the soul, giving hope once more to this age of failing technique. eassae.com

Thank you.
I'm always around... in stealth mode.
Because it is. I'm still at garage level.

I find recording guitar very difficult, even when I'm keeping it simple. Then shaping the music into a complete composition can be a nightmare. I'm stuck on a piece I've been working on for weeks and it isn't all that good.
And now I can't ditch it or finish it -

Oh, that easy... Yes, I think everyone knows that. You can freeze it, I have dozens of those, eventually I forget they wait for the finishing touch, and refill with new freeze material.Ciderwell wrote: Fri May 15, 2026 2:58 pm I'm stuck on a piece I've been working on for weeks and it isn't all that good. Turning the camera on to each overdub was kind of interesting, because it made it feel like kind of live thing. Of course you can start another take from the beginning, but there is no room for small tweaks and eventually you need accept a take as is. So this one I started and finished in a single evening. Refreshing experience.

I thought I was nearly finished. Then not satisfied with the drum loops I plugged the Yamaha DD-75 into my Line6 modelling amp, (Acoustic preset). It sounded great! Crystal clear!Zombie Queen wrote: Fri May 15, 2026 6:39 pmOh, that easy... Yes, I think everyone knows that. Fixing a new drum track will probably take up my weekend.
Yeah, usually the first takes can be the best. I've been meaning to do something similarly quick and quirky.Zombie Queen wrote: Fri May 15, 2026 6:39 pmI started and finished in a single evening. Refreshing experience.
- have just got home from seeing Max Cooper doing his 3D light show. Absolutely astounding what can be done nowadays with light magic, lasers, and a little dried ice. Cheers ~

Of course, I see what you mean. I usually just consolidate tracks, but have now tried freezing them instead. Been bouncing and mixing down all day today.Zombie Queen wrote: Fri May 15, 2026 6:39 pmYou can freeze it, I have dozens of those, eventually I forget they wait for the finishing touch, and refill with new freeze material.

"Busmisser" - I had never heard of that term before, so assumed it was from another language. It turns out that I was wrong, and it meant exactly what it should have meant.
The style remind me of the latest Canadian phenomenon (Angine de Poitrine), but without the microtonals, the loopers, and the outfits.
That's very good for a single evening's work. Nice recording too, and it's certainly got a live vibe.
Good work
