I can't describe the amazing sounds this thing is generating, very unique synthesis going on here i think, or atleast that I'm not aware of. Resochord reaktor ensemble and the anima synth are close but this is doing vastly different things at this point, from my understanding

That is resonance harmonics via sine waves, i still will explore via combs which sounds good also. There are 4-5 other modes to add, full blown synthesis in this, harmonic formants, grains, I hope I can stumble on something similar to graintable formants oscillators in virus ti snow. Some bits are sounding familar, if i can encorporate wavetables into this synthesis, it will be as unique a thing a I've ever heard.

I got the basic Subtractive engine down, for the most part, it was a wild ride. The envelope wasn't snappy enough, a lot of high end snap and pluck was gone. Turns out envelope and the amount knob to the filter is by slope, it was sitting at 6db so very weak. I have the full range slope so it's right where it needs to be at to preserve that almost white noise crisp. Also there was an annoying, though pleasant at time distortion, turns out there was a master limiter/clipper being applied behiind the scenes that was driving me crazy, i didn't pur it there, it was automagically placed there messing things up, yet still good at times. That was a mess to diagnose. I add to isolate the engines to find where the distortion was coming from. Check out the buttons to isolate and bring in each section.

It did the trick and not i have a wonderful master clipper/limiter section to toy with tht once was behind the scenes. This also has a wonderful sound design application, as it can be quite agressive and afffect the sound in the most lovely ways (I added to it and increased it's range here and there). Now I have a wide range of ways to add distortion and keep that snap of for the plucks. There's still some kooky business going on with the envelopes, creating a sequence type of effect if the release is long and the filter sustain is low and decay is low. Ghose notes, that is cool sometimes, again, but needs to handled. But I digress. Solid day ironing out the fundamentals on this piece.



Very enjoyable experience so far, almost suprised how fast the days are going back. I had to drag myself to the lack to catch a sunset at kayak.


Added a preset browser yesterday too with some nice visuals.

Turns out I forgot to tune my mic off on my laptop so the videos I've been sharing have a bad echo - a shame as I just did a two hour session. I'll share it but my next videos will showcase the sound quality in pristine quality - not this rubbish. Alas this is sounding quite to my taste. There is so much to explore and this is an AMAZING setup. My goal is to sound design and to assist that I can literally design the synth to suit my needs, my every whim. A sound designers dream. Truly, I think this is an ideal path for sound designers to have the ability to design there own plugs, it's quite easy, and not excessively tedious as I might expect it would be actually coding, though again, its rewarding enough I wouldn't begrude those skills.

Granular Osc - This time No Mic Bleed - Falling in love with this synth. How useful is ai, too useful perhaps. Careful we don't value it too much. It's a spiritual issue to me at this point, it's wise to have temperance and not leave out time for refreshing the mind in higher things and meditating on eternal truths, least the world and the things in it cloud ones sight and then will. What you love you will spend time in, make sure to wisely spend ones devotions, not towards toys, information, but the higher power behind all gifts.

Just making a mental note of journey in this sphere.

Smoothed out a lot of bugs, have the modulation system up and running again, the mod matrix, right click assign to modulation system, random, flip flop, steps, 3,4 and dialed in on the mseg that is quite intuitive and pleasant experience compared to others I've come across, you can set complex patterns with one click and dragging. Adding virus fm panel that is awesome, implemeting very unique stereo unison voices that have there own filter per voice that sounds amazing, and quite unique. Fixed the sampler section, missing files import, linked the granular import browser with the main sampler, added categories in the sample menu browser like rapid, and one page by one page made it modulatable and probably a couple other things I'm forgetting. I did not spend all day working on it as I have for the past 5 days, for spiritual reasons, though I wanted too. Instead spent time outdoors, and meeting people and met some nice ladies, no keepers though, haha.

Going for a proper ott style compressor and will have graphic interactive displays for various fx and likely the compressors and possibly the distortion unit and filter sections kind of in the style of minimal audio ish
