Yeah, I can see wanting two for stereo.pekbro wrote: Tue May 12, 2026 8:54 pm Very cool, guy over at GS bought 2 though.
I think you’re falling behind there a little Justin3am. Just sayin.

The ones I've tried have all been really cool. Shallow Water in particular. It's really easy to over use that one. It sounds good on everything.
This patch involves Placeholder showing its uglier, more unpredictable side.

Somewhere around halfway through you hear the pedal feeding back on itself, with lots of modulation.

Okay, this is way better than I was expecting. Finally the "hyper-Rings" I have been waiting for.
It's expected to be out in autumn... I'm going to have to decide whether to stick to my "no more new hardware in 2026" thing and make this a 1/1/2027 purchase, or decide that the awesomeness justifies it.

That sounds really cool! I love funky resonators and this seems to cover a lot of territory.foosnark wrote: Wed May 13, 2026 12:14 pm Okay, this is way better than I was expecting. Finally the "hyper-Rings" I have been waiting for.

Yes, it sounds great and it makes it hard to plan out a new euro rack case with all these things coming outfoosnark wrote: Wed May 13, 2026 12:14 pm Okay, this is way better than I was expecting. Finally the "hyper-Rings" I have been waiting for.

First part of 3D printed case put together. I ran out of screws to assemble everything, but the brass fittings are all in. It was super easy, so thank you, Shabdabriah! The video helped.
I'm doing a quick heat test, followed by an update to CVilization soon to get the extra voices.

ARmk2 finally arrived! The dynamic duo returnsjustin3am wrote: Tue May 05, 2026 10:01 pmHeck yeah! ARmk2 is such an awesome drum machine. I only recently started loading samples in mine and it’s opened a lot of new territory for me. It took me a lot longer to find my with with AnalogRytm than with OT and A4 but I’m glad I stuck with it!

they sound bloody awesome tbh, some of justins improvements to be added, including grouped voices (hopefully) soonelxsound wrote: Wed May 13, 2026 10:48 pm st, followed by an update to CVilization soon to get the extra voices.
for now, all 4 in to xpan, stereo out to low pass on qpas

Nice! Hoping to try it out tonight. Not enough time in the days lately, but hoping to carve out some play time.vurt wrote: Thu May 14, 2026 9:21 pmthey sound bloody awesome tbh, some of justins improvements to be added, including grouped voices (hopefully) soonelxsound wrote: Wed May 13, 2026 10:48 pm st, followed by an update to CVilization soon to get the extra voices.

I got the second case put together and now have to make some smart-enough module choices for the 2nd case.

Swapped out my jet black TD-3 MO with the much cooler acid yellow one - mostly because I could NOT see the lettering on that black one in my studio and it was killing my eyes!

The VCO update for CVz is also really cool. I haven't had 4 identical oscillators in my system for a long time. It's a lot of fun to feed the outputs back to its own inputs through a matrix mixer or something (good use for a second CVz, lol). I did set up a little polyphonic patch with CVz for oscillators, QMMG for filters Arba quad VCA and generating envelopes from O&C and a pair of Maths. It was a lot of fun, though tedious. It sounded really lush. I had the most fun using it to make drones. I just patched voltage offsets to the inputs and used faders to control the oscillator pitch for each channel. The front panel controls give you easy access to Octave switches and when mixed together, those four oscillators with sub-oscs can sound huge, even without the saw stack or chord modes.

Ooh, that sounds fun. I think that's going to influence what modules I place in the second printed rack. I have an extra Maths that I'll throw in and will need to think over the rest, but this is sounding fun.justin3am wrote: Fri May 15, 2026 2:33 amWoah that's so cool!elxsound wrote: Wed May 13, 2026 10:48 pm First part of 3D printed case put together. Yeah, seriously thank for the video. I actually had fun doing it! Its helped that 3 misprinted sections got used as practice, but I got it on the 2nd try.Shabdahbriah wrote: Fri May 15, 2026 1:43 amOh, that looks really nice! Glad I noticed this post.
