PSP Vintage Warmer paid update

anyway i'd like to have an updated version of N2O with a big screen and a better browser.

I want the same update to N2O!!

I understand why the paid update annoys people, especially if they recently bought it or need the bug fix. I have pretty much all the PSP stuff and just update to the latest Total Pack every year or so, that's cheaper than getting stuff when it comes out.

This my strategy lately since very few of their recent plugins (metra, drc, wobbler, datamix, tilt-q, auralcomp), as good as they are, were enticing to me. I think the last one I bought on intro was the 285 delay.

I rarely use Vintage Warmer.

It makes sense to (try) and add a (token) upgrade charge to VW considering its probably their most popular plugin. To me its a kind of obvious business decision. Otherwise it would feel like a lost opporunity. Hopefully they determined there is a risk of being called out for it (eg. this thread) and accepted the risk in lieu of the success. In this economy, I don't blame them for trying and I hope it worked out. I didn't buy the upgrade for economic reasons - I can really afford to give money away (token), and I let them know why so they have some data for future decision making.

Not that it should matter to anyone else, but I have changed my original position.
Just got an email from them about an update for Old Timer and this one doesn't seem to have a symbolic update fee so I will do the 9.99 for VW2 (though I haven't used it in years).
