Was always interested in this DAW.
Is it going further in development?
May be some audio editing features?
What about Podium?

Wow! I haven't thought about Podium in a long time. Doesn't seem like a lot of movement going on there in a while. Should be pretty mature after all these years anyway, I never did get on board with it myself really, beyond a demo here and there over the years.

Sadly I had to leave it behind when I moved to Mac but it was one of my favourite hosts, although even then (over 10 years ago) development was slow

If the developer does not go on developing it, would be cool do make it open source.
There are joung and hungry developers out there, to take it to the next level.
Midi editing is quit good in Podium, just some audio editing would be nice to add.

I think I still have a license for this, but haven't looked at it in forever. My priorities were different to the direction that it was going.
I really liked it, though. It's hard to say what makes a DAW click for me and what doesn't, but this one had whatever it is that helped me actually finish tracks. It would be pretty cool to see it developed again. It was very efficiently coded and stability was rock solid.

Yes, great coding & very clean install... The freeware version is quite generous especially if one is using an older OS... Not quite liking the project-based entry into the DAW... Not bad but not as good as others on plugin scanning...
OK this morning installing the 3.2.1 freeware 32bitter yes very clean but...BUTT! Plug scanning rather bad, using up entire morning trying to scan default plugins with about 900 plugs got as much as 500 before quitting as a crash means you gotta start all over again as you won't get a 'database' until scan is complete... Some plugs will pass for 10-20 scans then instantly crash Podium on next scan, some will crash with no dialog on what crashed next start-up... There needs to be other options here, like plugin 'listing' without scan or a fast scan or better yet just being able to browse a DLL onto a track... So in the end just threw some plugins in the zynewave plug folder & just scanning that, maybe 80 plugs...
Most everything else good to go... I like the step recording in the piano roll by pressing on the piano roll keyboard keys... Automation lanes are easy to see & envelopes drawn look real good & precise....
If you only got say 200 plugs you may be fine but 800-1000 you can forget it...
