So, I keep going back and forth between Ableton and Logic and trying to pick one to focus on. When I use Ableton I use it with a Push 3 as I like working in session view. In Logic I use Live Loops with a Launchpad Pro MK3 and a Launch Control XL3 which does a surprisingly similar job to the Push 3 with the added bonus of being able to control my plugins with the XL. Push 3 has MPE, but that’s not something I need.
Anyone else in a similar situation and which do you prefer for making space ambient style music, think Blade Runner.
Oh, and I know they shouldn’t sound different, but to me Logic does sound better and I know some other people think the same. I know how to check them to see, but one still sounds better to me, lol.
Trying to pick one DAW to focus on for space ambient music.

Why do you need other people's approval? If Logic works for you, just use Logic—it's that simple…

My personal preference there would be Ableton, but Logic Pro is also legit. In the end, as already mentioned, it’s up to you. No one else can - or should - speak for you. Just go ahead and use whatever works better, or inspires you more, etc.

These days, the tools are largely irrelevant. What matters is knowing how to use them. The only reason Logic might sound better is if you're using recorded audio in Live in one of the stretch modes, which can degrade sound quality a bit.
