It’s a fun drum machine!

Bought. $29 for this is a steal. I can get very tight and punchy kick out of this thing using only synth engine. As other people have said earlier in the thread, envelope in this is very fast and flexible, really good.

I lied about being a boomer, but Attack is definitely worth checking out.

Aren't boomers people who like the cars that go boom?

No you’re thinking of Tigra and Bunny.

No. That’s a solid Gen-x reference. Not a single boomer would get it.

If you need it splained. ;)

That's a boomer reply if I've ever seen one

Indeed. "Boomer" here (1950), and I had no clue. And TBTH, though I've seen far worse, would have been quite content to have never been exposed.
I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

What I like about Attack 3 is that it has a raw, lean, non-overproduced sound that you can really shape yourself. It works especially well for more intimate or alternative styles, like downtempo. Version 3 is deep and fully featured, and at around €30, I’d say it’s a no-brainer, depending on your style of music. If you’re after huge EDM/club-style boom, though, I don’t think it’s the most obvious choice.

I gotta say it's really tempting, but this is definitely a demo-first plugin for me, and I'm not sure I'll have time to demo it before the sale ends.
