Density by Sound Particles

Does anyone here understand Density from Sound Particles? I've tried several ways of using it on vocals but it is always just a mess.

what are you trying to achieve? Have you worked through the presets?

On their website there is an example for a vocal. I would have liked to mimic this, but nothing works. The only preset that is more or less OK is Centre of the Choir.

I did and I tried what they said, it was totally different.

even using much the same sample? No wonder you are frustrated and annoyed. Are you adjusting the dry/wet mix? You need to adjust both the input and the output volume as well, which is not like most other plugins that just have a dry wet mix plus a gain I am getting good subtle effect from it - or over the top silliness.
