The title states the obvious, but the track is on the experimental side.

It is my first track with the Dragonfly Interval Tapper - a new instrument from Dragonfly Instruments (https://dragonflytap.com/electrics/).
The Interval Tapper is a lap based instrument that has two bridges and pickups - one on each side of the instrument - and generates two tones per tap. I am still wrapping my head around playing it.
The first section of the track uses the Interval Tapper, the Harpejji Half Fretless Bass, Zendrum, and LinnStrument controlled synth bass. The second half of the instrument is much less “aggressive” sounding and brings in some textures from the Expressive E Osmose Synthesizer.

That descending line at 1:06 is super cool. Surprise ending too.
When the data is corrupt in the Desert of the Real, Beyond the Last Thought, where intuition reigns, is the solace that will embolden and strengthen the soul, giving hope once more to this age of failing technique. eassae.com

jcub,
Kind of reminds me of Nine Inch Nails and King Crimson for some reason.....oh, and now it reminds me of Peter Gabriel ("San Jacinto" without vocals) towards the end; I did not see that coming. Pretty bizarre and wild; surely interesting. Very good audio quality. I plan on posting a new song within an hour; perhaps you can check it out.

Thanks! I was going for a stark contrast between the beginning and end.aaron aardvark wrote: Fri May 22, 2026 3:32 am jcub,

With a title like that, I just HAD to listen to this. Very different from what I'm used to hearing from you. A little strange but very well done. Were you on some kind of controlled substance when you did this? LOL

Ha! Thank you. Other than coffee, I am not really a controlled substance person although the Idaho Beaver song I posted before might be even stranger.wagtunes wrote: Fri May 22, 2026 1:58 pm With a title like that, I just HAD to listen to this. Very nice. Blended seamlessly with Titan to Tachyons which I had on my playlist. Interval Tapper looks intriguing, though I feel kinda afraid of it, I'd have to master guitar first, which ain't gonna happen.
