This has been posted on OSX Audio and Sound On Sound by me. If this takes off, I'll need help with getting some sort of letter together that will either: list all shortcomings of Logic7.x, or present everybody's points that they want to make to Apple, in a concise way. I use an old version (4.eight) (but I want to upgrade soon, hopefully) and as such, I'm not personally aware of the problems that other have regularly. Is this something you want to put your weight to?
FAO: OSXAudio...KvR...Logic Users Group...Sound On Sound
As you know, there are many very unhappy and angry studio owners / producers / engineers who try to use Logic7.x on a daily basis in professional environments around the world.
If you are one of these people who have had problems with this product, would you be interested in signing a petition or adding your name to a letter to Apple, outlining all greviances?
As a collective, and with the weight of audio professionals alongside the project studio owners, perhaps we could finally make ourselves heard.
This letter (either in the form of an email, or perhaps a hard copy) could be sent either individually with your own serial number at the bottom, to show you are an owner of this product - or it could be sent with a list of everyone's name with their reply email address, should Apple want to respond.
Maybe its time the users made them listen. What do you think...?

this is definitely a good idea!
for me as a longtime logicuser, I can´t really comment on problems of vers.7 because I´m still on 6/os9.
I´ll think of it..maybe I can contribute something productive, rather in general, not focused on probs with vers.7.

I'm a 6 Pro user, but will happily sign a petition, as I want to upgrade to 7, but won't until they sort out the problems.

Moritz, the intention is to give unhappy Logic7 users the chance to put something to Apple as a group, rather than on a less effective individual basis. Its important that the users of this version only, are involved with this particular effort to be heard. Incidentally, I won't be signing this as I don't use Logic7. I'm just trying to get people together.
Ocean, I hadn't thought of that. I too want to upgrade, but I won't until I feel the app has the stability a 'Pro' app needs.
Perhaps I can try to compile a list of users who are holding back....
