A freebie from UA? Very cool! Unexpected but welcome. I stopped buying UA plugs after SpecOps but I just might have to check out Battalion. Well played, Unfiltered Audio!

Seems really cool, and I can say it also loads pretty fast on my Linux/Wine system. I heard they're also working on Native Linux versions, would be quite cool since I also happen to have a Triad license

And... a little bit of FR... it would be great to have a real ping pong, the current one is quite subtle...

Don't like the name. Don't like the protection scheme, but I really like the audio effects Unfiltered Audio is creating. Looking forward to give this a spin.
It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

After playing with this awhile my only complaint is the reverb tail seems a little fractured and I think it's from the delay's granular thing. Anyone else hear this? Also be sure and fiddle with that Max button (or whatever it's called)

Linux support would be great but they need a friendlier protection mechanism for me to bite. Fully offline activation is a must. Their PA-powered plugins can do this if you use a USB stick as a dongle.

The plugin does have offline activation. Let me know if it's not working for you.

Thanks for the Linux beta. I checked it in Ardour and Bespoke Synth (on debian sid) and it seems to work fine. Just in demo mode, I didn't go through with the activation.thelizard wrote: Fri May 22, 2026 7:28 pm Linux beta is now up: https://www.unfilteredaudio.com/blogs/n ... her-week-3

On that front, the issue as far as I can see is that it's not fully offline. The response file has to be generated by the server and is presumably machine-locked (I haven't followed through on it but it's a safe assumption based on the mechanism).
If anything happens down the line and that server is no longer available, activating to a new computer is not possible. That's what I mean by "fully offline" activation. For reference, there's a thread here discussing this and listing developers with customer-friendly protection (or none at all).
My computers are always online, the offline requirement is simply to ensure I don't lose access to any more plugins down the line when activation servers are taken offline. Native Instruments, Focusrite and Novation have killed off activation servers taking away plugins with them.
